Earth's Coffee Belt
While countries one by one became fascinated by coffee, different species of this plant were being discovered in more and more places. Later it turned out that it could grow not only in Ethiopia but also in Brazil, Guatemala, Kenya, Indonesia and other countries that are now called the Earth's Coffee Belt.
That is an imaginary strip on the planet's surface stretching along the Equator from which the Belt's borders outstand about 10 degrees both to the north and south.
The Belt includes more than 80 countries in Africa Asia, Oceania, Central and South America.
